New Delhi : The fourth edition of the Tri-Services Future Warfare Course is set to commence at the Manekshaw Centre, New Delhi, marking a significant initiative to enhance joint preparedness and strategic foresight within the Indian Armed Forces. The four-week course is being conducted under the aegis of the Headquarters Integrated Defence Staff (HQ IDS) and is coordinated by the Centre for Joint Warfare Studies (CENJOWS). Bringing together officers from the Army, Navy and Air Force, along with participants from government organisations, academia, industry and strategic think-tanks, the course aims to foster a comprehensive understanding of the rapidly evolving nature of warfare. The curriculum encompasses a wide spectrum of topics, including geopolitical developments, artificial intelligence, quantum technologies, cyber and cognitive warfare, information warfare, autonomous systems, and future operations across land, maritime, air and space domains. It will also address grey-zone operations, multi-domain operations and technology-enabled warfare. Participants will benefit from expert lectures delivered by senior military officers, policymakers, scientists and industry leaders. The course is designed to encourage informed discussions, strengthen jointness and develop strategic insights into emerging operational challenges that are expected to shape the future battlefield.
