HDFC Bank, spent ₹1,316.18 crore under’Parivartan,’

Kochi : India’s leading private sector lender, HDFC Bank, spent ₹1,316.18 crore under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, ‘Parivartan,’ during the last financial year, according to an official press release. The bank stated that these funds were utilized for development projects across more than 11,000 villages spanning all states, including 498 border villages and union territories. The core areas of focus included rural development, education, healthcare, livelihood enhancement, agriculture, sanitation, and water conservation. Deputy Managing Director Kaizad Bharucha stated that these initiatives benefited over 10.77 crore citizens and reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to expanding its social development footprint to reach more people across the country.
