Kochi: A five-kilometre anti-drug marathon was organised jointly by Rotary Club of Cochin Queen City, Cafe Fraby, Vimukthi Mission and R5 Entertainment. Held under the theme ‘Run Against Drugs’, the marathon witnessed the participation of more than 500 people. T.J. Vinod MLA inaugurated the event, while former Rotary District Governor K.C. Philip flagged off the marathon.
Rotary Club of Cochin Queen City President Lijin Abraham, Secretary Oommen Thomas, Event Chair Mohan Menon, District Directors Tom Joseph, Satheesh Warrier and Balachandran Panicker, along with Deepa Alex, addressed the gathering. Certificates were distributed to all participants who took part in the marathon.
