Kochi : Kerala athletes delivered an impressive performance at the Asia Pacific Yogasana Championship 2026 held in Thailand, securing several top positions across different categories. The athletes from Kerala earned rankings ranging from first to eighth place, including multiple medals and a special recognition, bringing pride to the state on the international stage.
Harikumar, Ajithkumar and Regini secured first place and won gold medals, while Zainaba, Narayanan Nair, Gracy Ravindran and Nagava Tenagi finished second. Krista, Shahanas Rafiq, Sashikala and Seema secured third place in their respective categories. Antonia Mariam P.A. and Alex finished fifth, Adeline secured sixth place, while Muneera Abdul Salam and Shahanas P.G. finished seventh. Anjana Santhosh secured eighth place. Sanju Harold also received a special award in the Star Category of the championship.
State President Priyanka P.B., Vice President Madhu K.S., Treasurer Lekha M.B. and National Organising Secretary Arun Raj, in a joint statement, said that the athletes’ hard work, rigorous training and dedication had helped them achieve this remarkable performance at the international championship
