Kochi : Samsung India has announced the 2026 edition of its corporate social responsibility initiative, ‘Samsung Innovation Campus’, aimed at providing practical training in Artificial Intelligence (AI) to India’s youth. Implemented in collaboration with the Electronics Sector Skills Council of India and the Telecom Sector Skill Council, the programme will offer free training to 20,000 youths across 10 states. Through this initiative, the company aims to prepare a future-ready workforce aligned with the latest technological advancements and support India’s growth as a global AI hub.
The programme is designed to offer practical AI training, project-based learning, and expert mentorship to youth aged between 18 and 25. Beyond technical training, it will also help foster problem-solving skills and critical thinking. JB Park, President and CEO of Samsung Southwest Asia, stated that as Samsung India completes 30 years, the company is proud to partner in the nation’s growth journey by investing in next-generation AI talent.
So far, over 26,500 youths have been trained through the Samsung Innovation Campus. Notably, women comprised nearly 48% of last year’s batch, highlighting the programme’s diversity and widespread acceptance. Company officials added that alongside other skill development initiatives like ‘Solve for Tomorrow’ and ‘Samsung Dost’, the Samsung Innovation Campus aims to drive strength into the country’s digital ecosystem.
